I work as a science writer and editor from home. This is my space: the light is incredible and the squirrels and pigeons come to visit at unexpected times. Since then I have had lots of excuses for short breaks.
Since 2011: I write science dissemination articles for Agrotec, a magazine that contains hands-on, science-based, information for immediate implementation by the farming community.
Since 2012: I was part of an international development project, with CAB International. I have edited and translated several field manuals that address best practices for sustainable agriculture in sub-Saharan Africa.
Since 2017: I created my Agri-blog. My plan is to highlight outstanding pieces of academic research: innovative, original and with the potential to have an impact on people's lives. My blog targets all people with an interest in biology, including researchers, funding agencies, farmers and consumers.
Since 2017: I currently work as a science editor for two online international companies. I help non-native English authors express their academic ideas. I try to highlight the potential impact of their findings to add significance and increase chances of acceptance for publication.
